The 2011 Summer Series
June 11-12, 2011 Battle of Slaughter Creek
PDGA B-Tier Event benefiting Waterloo Disc Golf Club

Unfortunately, the Parks Department has denied us permission to use Circle C for Battle of Slaughter Creek.
The event is being moved to the Austin Bible Ridge Church course instead.
9300 Bee Cave Rd.

Sorry for the change!!!

We are just a couple of weeks away from the tournament and we need to get in some sponsorship. There will be $500 cash added to the pro divisions, player’s packs for all the amateurs, plus a big raffle so we can use all the support we can get, both cash and merchandise. Our sponsorship request letter is below, please let us know if you can donate or if you have any questions.
Dear Sponsor,
The Waterloo Disc Golf Club will be hosting its annual Battle of Slaughter Creek disc golf tournament on June 11-12, 2011, at the Austin Ridge Bible Church disc golf course. The tournament will be a PDGA sanctioned B-Tier event. We would like to include you, your club, or your business in our list of sponsors for the event. All sponsors will be given advertisement at our event in the form of a post on our website and facebook page, and a listing in the player’s guide. Sponsors who donate $100 or more also will be recognized with a tee sign on the course.
At this time we are looking to gather donations to enhance the quality of the event. Donations can be in monetary or merchandise form. All donations will be accepted and appreciated. To make a donation contact Jeremy ‘Bird’ Grange at 405-922-1306. Thank you for your time and generosity.

$500 cash added to the pro divisions; players packs for all the amateurs; a FAT FAT raffle including an Innova Discatcher Sport basket; CTPs; plenty of water on the course; gonna be a great event!
Contact Bird at 405-922-1306 for more info.
Sponsors still needed, please contact Bird if you can help.
Also, a few more staff members wouldn’t hurt either. If you can’t play, please come on down and help – just get in touch with Bird about it.
Thanks!

Bird sent some information about Battle of Slaughter Creek this weekend, this should definitely help with the heat…
The course will be played in 3 rounds of 18; no A or B hole; no 2 meter rule.
ALL DIVISIONS will throw from the RED BOX on hole 12, this is being done for safety and flow of play. Open play blue boxes all weekend; advanced play blue, red, blue; and all others play red.
Online registration open until midnight tonight (Thursday), www.mrdiscgolf.com Late registration on Saturday morning will begin at 8:00am and close at 8:45am, sharp (don’t be late). Player’s meeting starts at 9:00 am.
There is NO Friday doubles.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Due to the big tournament this weekend, there will be NO Bartholomew mini on Saturday morning. The mini will resume next Saturday, June 18th, (starts at 10 am).
